Job Request Procedures


Procedure of using On-line Job Request System

  1. Start from Job Request System (JRS) https://webapps.med.cuhk.edu.hk/eds/JobRequest
  2. Login with CWEM ID and password on campus or with CUHK VPN off campus.
  3. Job request submission dates: For Event Support – at least 14 working days in advance. For other job requests – at least 2 working days in advance. All job requests are scheduled on a first-come first-served basis. Thus, earliest request submission is important to secure reservation on the service schedule. Expected completion dates are subject to the complexity of the job and the current scheduling status. Please confirm completion date with the responsible team.
  4. When a job request form is completed and submitted to the system, an acknowledgement with job number will be emailed to the applicant instantly.
  5. The responsible team will contact the applicant accordingly to ensure sufficient job details for progress.
  6. Endorsement requirement for job requests: Job requests must be endorsed by Department/Unit Head for equal right of using the Faculty’s resources. Signed copy of the request must reach our office within 7 working days after on-line submission. Unsigned job requests will be processed with lower priority.
  7. Amendment of job details may be made directly with service team heads by quoting the job number.
  8. The above job request submission procedure will be reviewed and revised from time to time. Please check with service team heads for any updates.
